Hardinge introduces the new 16C and 3J Indexing Systems. You like the 5C indexing concept but need to handle larger and heavier parts. Hardinge is revolutionizing the part positioning industry! Choose from three flexible systems and maximize your existing spindle tooling.

Hardinge 5C spindle with 4”/101.2mm centerline height to base
0.001 to 360 degrees-per-sec indexing speed
Hydrodynamic spindle
Optional bearing spindle for heavier axial and radial loads
Manual collet closer is standard
Optional pneumatic and through-hole collet closers
Single, dual, triple and quad units available
Uses standard 5C spindle tooling

16C and 3J Indexers

Hardinge A2-5 spindle nose with 6”/152.4mm centerline to base
0.001 to 300 degrees-per-second indexing speed
Dual angular contact bearings for heavy axial and radial loads
Pneumatic through-hole collet closer
Single, dual and triple units available
Uses standard 16C or 3J spindle tooling

All-Digital Servo Control

Stores up to 50 programs with up to 1000 steps each
Multi-line LCD display
Infrared data transmission capability
Runs Hardinge and other brand brush or brushless motor indexers

Accessories and Options

Collets, collet stops, step chucks, expanding collets, fixture plates, manual jaw chucks and power jaw chucks
