Technical Note: 16C Step Chucks are manufactured without the small closing taper on the collet.
A closing ring matched to the specific collet size is required.
Additionally, if the 16C collet chuck is being used on a machine other than a Hardinge lathe with an A2-5 spindle face, the chuck must incorporate the appropriate adapter/feature. For further clarification, please contact us.
